A quest for transparency
Aromalux is the result of an unwavering passion for scent, craftsmanship, and uncompromising quality. It all began in 2016 in Thessaloniki, Greece, when Theo Vasilias embarked on a journey into the world of fragrance, starting as a candle maker. Year after year, he immersed himself deeper into the art and science of scent, relentlessly searching to create unique sensory experiences.
But his passion soon turned into a quest for truth and transparency. He wanted to know more—where did fragrance oils come from? What was really in them? He wasn’t satisfied with vague ingredient lists or proprietary formulations. This drive led him to bypass middlemen and go straight to Europe’s most renowned olfactory manufacturers, curating with them a vast (and ever-growing) collection of unique, high-quality, and safe fragrance oils—each handpicked, each with a story.
A quest for excellence
The traditional ways of scenting have many hidden flaws. Too many byproducts of burning even with the "safest" of waxes, too much waste in raw materials, and energy in production, let alone the very essence of a fragrance being compromised in the process. He wanted something more efficient, safe and sustainable. That’s when he found cold-air diffusion, a method that preserved the full integrity of a fragrance without burning, diluting, or degrading the oils.
However, existing electric diffusers were built from cheap plastics, compromising both the purity of the scent and the sustainability of the design. Unwilling to settle, he set out to engineer something better. He envisioned a no-compromise device, built from high-grade aluminum for optimal preservation, free from unnecessary waste, and capable of delivering an unparalleled scent experience. The result was Aromalux Alpha, a true revolution in home fragrancing, crafted with precision, passion, and commitment to quality.
